Get Informed.
Please read everything carefully before booking an appointment. Thank you.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Kindly send me a DM on my IG page at @browsbytrish_ for faster response or send me an email at hello.strokesandarcsla@gmail.com for availability and special prices. I will need three clear pictures of your eyebrow (1. Left Side, 2. Front View, 3. Right View) without makeup, no filter, and with natural lighting before we confirm and book your appointment.
Am I eligible for a brow procedure?
You are ineligible for brow services if you are: pregnant, breast feeding, diabetic, if you have glaucoma, skin diseases, keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer or if you’re taking skin medications like steroids. You must also be 18+. Exceptions to pregnant and breast feeding clients with a doctor’s note and consent.
Do we take appointments outside of our studio?
Kindly contact me for home services. Additional fees may apply.
What can I do to prepare for the appointment?
Avoid caffeine, alcohol and pain killers 24 hours prior to the appointment. These substances thins out the blood and heightens senses causing scarring and makes the procedure more painful.
Should I come in with or without make up?
Either one is fine. If there is specific shape and color you like the artist to see, come in with the desired brow shape. If not, come in without make up because the brow area will be wiped and clean prior to the procedure.
Do I need to groom my brows before the appointment?
Not necessary. Any hairs outside of the frame is removed before and after the shape has established.
Does it hurt?
Doing the outline might hurt a little bit but we will use topical anesthetic during the actual shading, if ever the pain is very minimal.
Which brow service will give me the most natural?
This depends on the client’s existing brow hairs! At the beginning of every appointment there is a consultation. Your brow artist will discuss which method is most natural for you.
Which brow service is most suitable for me?
Again, this depends on the client’s existing brow hairs, skin type, etc.
How many sessions does it take for a new set of brows?
Every brand new set of brows require two sessions to be complete and achieve the desired. The first session is the initial appointment and the second session is the first touch up.
How long should I wait to get a touch up?
Touch up should be at least 4 weeks after the first initial session, once the brows are fully healed.
What will my brows look like?
Results will vary. Factors that contribute to varying results includes skin type, brow bone, pores, amount of brow hair, amount of brow baldness, and thickness of the brow hair.
What to expect after my procedure?
• Brows will darken in the next few days.
• Brows will begin to crack and scab.
• Brows will appear to be light and patchy.
• Then the color will begin to settle and come back.
What's the aftercare?
• Absolutely no water contact on the brows for the first 7 days.
• Start applying the A&D ointment on the 3rd day. (Twice a day, morning and night). Apply until brows have fully peeled then stop using the ointment. Keep your ointment for touch up.
• Avoid sun exposure, swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, sweating, etc.
• No PICKING and PULLING on the scabs.
• Itchiness is to be expected, but no itching or scratching on the brows to prevent color loss.
• Do not sleep on your side, always sleep on your back.
